I can't believe my little boy turns one in 4 days!! The time has gone by too fast already!
Of course I'll be making sandwiches for his birthday, but these will be "nice" cream sandwiches! Not quite as fun of a treat, but Waylon will love it!
Anyways, what this has to do with Waylon's Handcrafted? Well, for his birthday we are going to donate $1,000 dollars to No Kid Hungry. This organization is very near and dear to my heart. I chose it because I couldn't imagine having to look into Waylon's eyes, knowing he's hungry, and not being able to feed him or take that pain away. It's horrible to think about an innocent child having to go to bed hungry, not being able to do anything about it.
This donation won't solve all the children suffering, but it will help bring some relief to children, which is a great start!
